Navi Install on 06 si

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knew if Honda or someone else has come out with an easy way to handle the wires when installing a navi in a non navi si. I know you have to buy the new dash piece from Honda but I would really like to install a navi in my non navi si but I didn't know if there was a wire kit or if you still had to splice the wires yourself. Ideally I would like some sort of kit but if I have to splice myself I may wait. Also does anyone know how much the dash piece costs? Thanks for any help. This forum has been quite the blessing.

No wiring harnest plug for the 06 Civic that I'm aware of yet, so you might want to wait.

I have same question.. I purchased a 07 Civic SI 4dr without NAVI and the previous owner purchased the OEM NAV unit along with the dash bezel and GPS antenna and sold me the car with these items. I would like to install the unit in the car. I keep looking to see if anyone has done this for pictures, problems or any advice to install the unit. Anyone doing such installations? What's the cost?

this has been covered on this site already.
search it.

the easiest way, yet more expensive way to do it is to get a new dash harness for vehicles with navi and use that. it will have the plugs on it for the navi which the non navi models are missing.

type x and another member here have done this already.
