Bumping this up and asking a new question. I still need projector reccomendations other than something pricey like the S2000 or even the tsx.

New question(s):
I hear alot of talk about changing the lense with the rx330's. explanation?
Also, if I were to use the stock...cases? I guess you call them for the headlights. What would I need for a retrofit? I found a buddy who will retrofit for free. So far on the list I have.

-Projectors
-H1 bulbs
-shrouds

What am I missin?

To be honest I dont know jack about headlights. Could the TSX (you are refering to the acura TSX-right?) headlight set just plug right in?

No there will be quite a bit of modifying required. You will need new wiring and new bulbs. I didn't do mines I payed someone to retrofit for me. I would do a search and your find lots of info on retrofits and might have a better idea on which way you would like to go depending on your budget.

Well considering I was willing to drop $300 on a set of aftermarket projectors that doesnt seem too bad. Im new to the retrofit thing, as to alot of other things not engine related. Whats does retrofitting entail?

Well I dont think I want to try to retro fit, especially since it would be a first time DIY. Also because I have no tools or a shop since Im away at school. I just did alot more research on the pro street headlights. (Not sure if im allowed to post a link, direct picture link is below) A few people who have them installed said they love them, and their is no wire splicing involved other than the halos which are "easy." So unless someone can tell me otherwise I might save up the $300 to cash for the aftermarkets.

Isn't the procivic one is the dual halo one with 3 LED next to the high beam? If so, don't get it. It's more a downgrade than an upgrade, trust me, I got the same design (but from a different seller and having different brand) before. The light is pointing outward, which make it very dark for your direct front, and you will need some cutting before you can put the H1 HID bulb in. Also, they charge you $300 just for the light, you will need another $100 for the HID kit. It's a junk.

The LED's are on the inside closest to the grill so yeah I guess those are the same ones. I'll have to take your word for it then. Do they make a good aftermarket kit like that?

yeah Im liking how the tsx look in CBRs setup, but if the rx330 are cheaper I might go with those. I talked to a buddy of mine and he just retrofitted his own BMW lamps. I might ask him to do a set for me since itd cut my labor cost to practically nothing.

Since Im new to the retrofit thing what are the bare essentials of what I would need?

RX330 with clear lens are pretty awesome for the price. I would say good as TSX, but close to half the price. If you take time to source parts, I say you can get everything for around 200-240. I got my Denso ballasts, D2S bulbs and RX330 projects and clear lens swap for around 200. Came out of RX330 headlights I took apart. The only thing you need is shrouds which you could make or spend a little extra money on.

Im guessing that price doesnt include the headlights you started with? Im starting from nothing and will need to buy everything.
